WildSilkbase: EST database of wild silkmoths

WildSilkBase is an EST database that comprises of EST sequence and annotated data of three economically important wild silkmoths: Antheraea assama, Antheraea mylitta, Samia cynthia ricini. These EST sequences have been generated from various tissues of the silkworms under different developmental stages. Currently it hosts 60,000 EST sequences and is equipped with various tools like Search, GO (Gene Ontology) Viewer, BLAST, SSR finder, homolog finder, SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) prediction etc. (Arunkumar et al 2008).

It can be accessed at http://www.cdfd.org.in/wildsilkbase/.
