MEROPS: the peptidase database

MEROPS database is a user-friendly web resource developed at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Cambridge. This database provides hierarchical classification and nomenclature data of peptidases (proteolytic enzymes, proteases, proteinases) which can be browsed through name, identifier, organism, substrates, inhibitors etc. Option such as search, BLAST analysis, download, and submit data etc. have been offered by the database.

The detailed information of MEROPS DB can be accessed through URL http://merops.sanger.ac.uk.
