InSatDB is another microsatellite database that hosts integrated information on the microsatellite markers of five insects i.e. B. mori, Drosophila melanogaster, Apis mellifera, Anopheles gambiae and Tribolium castaneum with completely sequenced genome. It is an interactive web-interface having certain sections like About, Analysis, Tutorial etc. providing detailed annotated information of microsatellites including genome location, repeat size, nature, type, sequence composition and copy number. InSatDB is hosted by Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, India and can be accessed through URL:www.cdfd.org.in/insatdb
